End of Day 210:
- 62 travel Days
- 41 Locks
- 3300 Miles
- 2000 Gallons of Fuel
- Now at Marathon Key, the furthest southern latitude of the trip
- Key Learnings:
- In salt water, boat bottoms need scrubbing and zincs need replacing every 6 to 8 weeks
- There are very few alligators in Everglades City now as they move inland to avoid salt water until the spring rains begin. Salt water causes blindness.
- Airboat rides in the Everglades are a "blast"
- We never tire of seeing Palm trees, Dolphins and blue skies
